Cyber criminals use all kinds of ways to get your banking information. One common way these days is to use the hacked account of a friend and make the request for your bank information come from that account. For instance, you may receive an email or instant message from your close friend saying that he is stuck somewhere without money and to send emergency funds to an account number. Don't fall for that trick. Another heinous trick is to make it appear as if your close family member has met an accident and needs urgent financial assistance. Always speak to that person directly and if in doubt, contact the police for advice.
