What is the effect of the removal of Equal Access (PSTN) Service, Internet Access Call Origination Service, Inter-Operator Mobile Number Portability Support Services and Network Signalling Service from the Access List?

These services would not be regulated via the Access List, and as such, the standard access obligations under section 149 of the CMA would not be applicable to them. Nevertheless, service providers are encouraged to continue to offer these services on 

a commercial basis.  Further, other provisions in the CMA, including competition provisions will continue to apply.
