Converged Telecommunications Policy and Regulations (CTPR)

Since it was introduced in 2016, the Converged Telecommunications Policy and Regulations (CTPR) programme series has provided a platform for the participants to understand the roles and functions of MCMC in developing and regulating Communications and Multimedia (C&M) industry in Malaysia holistically.

This programme is divided into three series, i.e. CTPR Foundation, Advance I and CTPR Advance II. Each series aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of policies, legal issues and challenges of different areas of the C&M industry, e.g. licensing, enforcement, cyber security, infrastructure, postal, spectrum and many more.

Throughout the programme implementation, internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) will be invited to provide a global and current perspective to these issues. To ensure effective learning and measure participants' understanding of the topics delivered during the programme, an intensive blended learning and interactive teaching methodology covering lectures session, structured individual assessment, group presentations and experiential learning visits will be implemented.

CTPR Programme Series was designed based on the 15 modules of the Convergence Communications and Multimedia Policy and Regulatory Guide handbook.  Over the years, the programme has experienced content transformation to reflect the current C&M landscape from a broader perspective.
