COMMUNICATIONS AND  MULTIMEDIA  (TECHNICAL  STANDARDS) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS 2001
 
IN exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16 and 158 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 [Act 588], the Minister, on the recommendation of the Commission, makes the following regulations:
 
Citation and commencement
 
1. (1) These regulations may be cited as the Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) (Amendment) Regulations 2001.
 
    (2) These Regulations come into operation on 31 March 2001.
 
Amendment of regulation 1
 
2. Subregulation 1(3) of the Communications and Multimedia (Technical Standards) Regulations 2000 [P.U. (A) 124/2000] is amended by substituting for the words “1 April 2001” the words “1 April 2002.”.
