Experiencing Convergence.MyBroadband ’08 Conference and Exhibition jointly organized by the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications (KTAK) and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM) will be held from 28 th to 30 th October 2008 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre . The exposition is expected to be a major event for the Communication and Multimedia (C&M) industry as two forums, Experiencing Convergence and MyBroadband Conferences will be held simultaneously.

All forums are expected to provide participants and consumers of the C&M industry a platform for sharing and the opportunity to gain current knowledge on convergence laws and regulations, broadband services and technology, new media platforms, content development and applications including for digital home, security aspects, provision of services and other industry issues.

Along with the Conference, the Experiencing Convergence.MyBroadband’08 Exhibition will also be held to showcase the latest advances in technology, solutions and applications. Companies taking part in the event will have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to local and international audiences during the three day event. The main attraction of the Exhibition is the Digital Home showcase at the SKMM pavilion. The model Digital Home is expected to draw visitors to experience the latest communication and multimedia technology.
