Chapter 3 - Inquiry

Section 63. Confidential material not to be disclosed.

(1) If an inquiry takes place in public and the Commission is of the opinion that—

(a)

the evidence or other material presented to the inquiry; or

(b)

the material in written submissions lodged with the Commission,

is of a confidential nature, the Commission may direct that—

(aa)

the evidence or material should not be published; or

(bb)

its disclosure be restricted.

(2) A person shall not without reasonable excuse fail to comply with a direction under subsection (1).
